SLO Hostels

Corporate Development

An ambitious development strategy

The idea is to establish a presence in all of France’s large cities and tourist hotspots. Specifically, the goal is to have ten establishments by 2030.

Why partner with SLO in the hostel sector?

SLO is convinced that hostels are the future of the budget
accommodation segment in cities. Currently, there is very little variety in this field and establishments tend to be distant from city centres and/or ageing.

SLO hostels meet the expectations of the new generation of travellers looking for adventure, to connect/reconnect with themselves and who respect the environment.

Partners

SLO is proud to be backed by major investors and partners in the tourist industry – Bpifrance, Banque des Territoires, Extendam, large domestic banks and local authorities.
SLO can also count on support from its business angels, who are with the company at all the key stages of its growth.

Our corporate mission

SLO’s corporate purpose is to bring the hostel concept to a wider audience and play a central role in transforming the current tourist industry landscape, creating tourism with a more local, person-centred and sustainable approach.
In line with this, SLO wants its venues to be inspirational, creative and open; places where tourism and culture come together, aimed at giving travellers and locals an unforgettable experience.

SLO’s beginnings

Charlotte, Pierric and Julien, 3 childhood friends, decided to start up a business in a field for which they had a shared passion – travelling and meeting new people.

SLO’s roots lay in their travels to the four corners of the globe and, above all, the spirit of curiosity that blossomed on trains, in buses, in marketplaces, restaurants and bars, camera in hand and eyes wide open in wonder. Their idea was for travel to live on in day-to-day life and to offer a welcome like the welcomes they’d received.
